Artemis Honey Sauce with Avocado and Mango
Honoring the Greek goddess Artemis.
2 large avocados, pitted, peeled and chilled
2 chilled mangos, seeded, peeled and chilled
Cayenne pepper (to taste)
dash of salt
¾ cup of plain yogurt (Greek style)
Juice of 2 large limes
3 Tbsp honey
Slice the avocado and mango halves lengthwise in 1/2-inch slices. Alternate the slices in an attractive pattern on a serving platter or on individual salad plates. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and salt. Set aside.
Whisk together the yogurt, lime juice and honey and drizzle it over the avocado and mango just prior to serving.
You can garnish with sprigs of mint for additional flavor and appeal.
