Winter is nature's way of saying, "Up yours."

Perhaps I am a bear, or some hibernating animal underneath, for the instinct to be half asleep all winter is so strong in me.

Snowed In, Snowed Under and
Digging Out Today . . .

To Send You
Best Wishes for the Winter Solstice

Whew! What a week it's been here. Epic Snow Storm, says the Weather channel.

The power outages weren't that bad and my anxiety levels returned to normal once the young'uns managed to make it home safely after being stranded. (Once a mother, always a mother, eh?)

Got the car dug out and moving again, but all of it left me feeling a wee bit snowed under and a considerable bit behind schedule. But I just can't miss this opportunity to greet each of you this Winter Solstice, hope your holidays are happy, and wish you the very best in the new year.

The dreaming days are here as the Winter Solstice arrives. The big snow storm that just hit us here in the mountains screamed 'Hibernate' as if the goddesses of winter were determined to enforce it!

But I'm just not hard-wired to hibernate . . . long winters' naps seem to elude me (though I am quite adept at the pre-hibernation feasting and storage of fat). Procrastination is more my style during winter months.

Warm your heart and your soul with this holiday read . . . Anita Ryan's fabulous new book, The Goddess Diet.

No more dangerous dieting; no more trash talking; no more self-loathing. Instead:

Lose your inner critic, gain more energy and fall in love with you self.

Many of you, like me, know Anita as the Aussie Goddess of Wit as well as Wisdom. You're gonna' love this one!

This Month's edition of the Goddess E-Zine

Ever wonder why we say it's 'friggin' cold' in here? Why do we kiss under the mistletoe?  If Jesus was born in July, why is Christmas celebrated in December?

Yes .....  Inquiring minds want to know.

Check it all out in Winter Wonderland.
