The Goddess Quiz provides you with you intriguing, insightful, and meaningful information that can lead to your personal growth and development. Our goal is to give you helpful and inspiring information that is  relevant to your daily life.  The nature of personality assessment is such that it is necessary for you to feel completely comfortable in disclosing personal information so that we can respond to you with the most accurate and helpful feedback that we can.  Our policies and practices were designed to protect your privacy so that you feel comfortable in sharing that personal information.

The following statement explains Goddess Path's ("Goddess Gift," goddessgift.com") information collection and disclosure practices. We offer a personality assessment (the "Goddess Quiz and Report") that may not be used by children under the age of seventeen (17) and children under those below this age may not submit any personal information to Goddess Gift, except through their parents or legal guardians.

What type of information does Goddess Gift collect?
We collect no information that may be used to identify you individually, such as your name and email address ("personal information") unless you provide it to sign up for a specific service such as our newsletter.  Those taking the goddess quiz must provide demographic information (age and sex only) that helps us to compare their quiz results with statistical norms so that they receive the most accurate report possible. We do not share this information in a personally identifiable format with any third party.  Occasionally we gather data in order to further validate our tests. Each visitor has the choice of submitting his/her information for validation purposes. Even in this instance, Goddess Gift never uses individual data (name, place of residence, etc.), but uses aggregated (collective) databases for purposes of test validation.  Otherwise, no records of scored tests and quizzes are kept.

Depending on the specific Goddess Gift services and products for which a user registers, certain specific information will be requested. We use this additional data to personalize your Goddess Gift experience. By obtaining and using this information, We can provide you with timely, relevant, and individualized service according to your preferences and interests.

We use this information as follows:

1. to send you our monthly newsletter, if you have signed up for it
2. to contact you if you have signed up for additional services requiring contact;
2.  to send promotions/ coupons via e-mail only with your consent,
4. to contact you for feedback and surveys via e-mail,
5. to respond to your queries to customer service at Goddess Gift; and
6. to send you thank you email and follow-up email.

If you sign up for certain Goddess Gift services such as the newsletter, we collect personal information, such as your name and email address. This information will not be linked to your testing information.  Goddess Gift may use URL tracking in the emails sent to you. When you open such email messages, our system may record the following data: the time you viewed the email and the URLs that you clicked on from that email. Goddess Gift will also record if your email program is capable of receiving HTML-encoded email. URL tracking may use cookies. Goddess Gift uses this information to assess or modify our content in these emails. Goddess Gift may use this information in an aggregated, statistical form to describe our audience and services on our site to third parties (i.e., anyone or any entity who is not an employee, agent, or subsidiary of Goddess Gift).

If you send an email to Goddess Gift or submit any information to our customer support staff, we will retain your email or other information for the time necessary to respond to you.

How does Goddess Gift use my personal information? 
Goddess Gift never discloses your personal information to any third party. Goddess Gift uses the personal information you voluntarily only to allow us to provide you with customized services. 

Goddess Gift may use aggregated, statistical information to describe our audience, services, and to develop partnerships with third parties (i.e., anyone or any entity who is not an employee, agent, or subsidiary of Goddess Gift). For example, if 20% of our members were interested in buying books about goddess rituals, we might share that statistic with a  book distributor in order to offer a link to their service to our site visitors. We would not disclose any individual's personal data. Be assured, we do not disclose your personal information.

We hope to build a long-term relationship with you. To build that trust, we know that as you spend time on our site and with our email newsletters, your personal information must remain within your control. Therefore, unless you give us your express permission, except if we believe in good faith that the law requires it (e.g. if disclosure was necessary to respond to a subpoena, warrant, or court order, or to protect the rights of Goddess Gift or others)  we will not share your personal information with unauthorized third parties. We believe your personal information is precisely that--yours. And we will do our best to protect it!

How do I maintain control over my information?
If you sign up for the Goddess Newsletter,  Goddess Gift will send you service and product offerings we think you'll be interested in via email. If you do not wish to continue receiving the newsletter, simply click on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter. Or you can contact us by email to to be removed from the mailing list and your contact information will be promptly deleted. 

From time to time, we may run surveys and/or contests on the site in which we may ask you for additional information. Participation in such surveys or contests is completely voluntary. We use and treat such information in accordance with this privacy statement.

How does Goddess Gift keep my information secure?
Every Goddess Gift employee understands that the privacy of our members is a top priority. Access to members' personal information is strictly limited to our Goddess Gift Team, a small number of professionals and customer relationship employees. A customer relationship employee will handle your personal information only to respond to your communication or to better understand our audience to help with our editorial direction. Be assured that all members of our team are subject to stringent confidentiality requirements. Any information shared with others is anonymous and aggregated, never identifiable by individual.

Your Goddess Quiz report  is not stored on our server, but delivered to you as a downloadable (or printable) report  so that you are the only person who has access to this information. Please remember to close your browser window when you have finished your visit. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information you provided and is especially important if you are sharing or using a public access computer.

What privacy policies cover credit card transactions partners on the Goddess Gift site?
Credit card transactions occur on a secure third-party site. Information submitted for credit card processing is encrypted and transmitted over secure links. No credit card information is stored on Goddess Gift's servers.
